Founded in 1834, Combier is an artisanal distillery based in Saumur, in France’s Loire Valley. One of the region’s oldest distilleries, it remains active at the heart of the city and was awarded the Living Heritage Company (EPV) label in 2016, recognising its craftsmanship and tradition. Combier makes fruit, flower and plant-based elixirs, alongside a broad range of spirits and cocktail products.
Its offerings include historic signature liqueurs such as L’Original Triple Sec, Royal Combier and Guignolet d’Anjou, as well as absinthes, aniseed spirits, gin, vodka, coffee spirit and flavoured liqueurs. The range also features syrups, confectionery, semi-candied cherries, gift sets and ready-to-use cocktail preparations. Customers can explore cocktail recipes and mixology inspiration on the brand’s website, while professionals have access to a dedicated trade area.
Combier also welcomes visitors to discover its distillery and 10 historic stills through year-round tours by reservation. The brand sells through its online boutique and highlights products made in France and eco-responsible packaging.
