Comedia Köln

COMEDIA Theater is a cultural venue in Cologne and a center for young audiences in Cologne and North Rhine-Westphalia. Its program brings together theater, comedy, live events, literary discussions, festivals, workshops, and projects for people of different ages. Performances range from productions for children and teenagers, including adaptations such as Emil and the Detectives, to comedy, cabaret, live podcasts, and readings featuring guest artists. The theater presents events in several spaces, including the Red and Green Halls, the studio, and the Halle, with some performances designed for specific age groups.

Beyond its stage program, COMEDIA offers opportunities to take part through creative writing and other workshops, as well as activities and collaborations involving schools, classes, groups, and cultural practitioners. The 510 Comedia program includes workshops and events that encourage participation and exchange. Visitors can browse upcoming dates and purchase tickets through the theater. Based in Cologne’s Südstadt, COMEDIA also provides information about school visits, group bookings, venue rentals, and touring inquiries, serving audiences, artists, and educational partners.
