Comedor Run Club

Comedor Run Club is a food and beverage industry running group in Austin, Texas, creating an inclusive community centered on movement, connection, and well-being. Welcoming all paces, the club encourages participants to start and finish together, share encouragement, and build camaraderie through running. Group runs take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10 a.m., with a listed meeting location at 501 Colorado St.

The club’s mission is to “shift the post-shift” culture common in food and beverage work. While after-work gatherings can help service workers connect and decompress, Comedor Run Club highlights the potential toll of late nights, unhealthy habits, stress, and burnout. It offers running and community as a healthier way to recharge and support personal and collective well-being. The club invites people to join for a few miles, high-fives, and a welcoming shared experience. Its website also features a route and introduces a network of running groups and community partners, including The Loop Running Supply Co., Resident Runners, and Koreatown Run Club.
