Come Uganda is a community-focused organisation working to create positive change in Uganda, with programmes supporting children, women, pastors and vulnerable hospital patients. Founded in 1998, it addresses education, healthcare, spiritual development and essential needs through partnerships and community initiatives.
The organisation provides children with access to education, healthcare and basic resources, supported through individual and classroom sponsorships. Its hospital care programme helps vulnerable patients with nursing care, personal hygiene and spiritual support. Come Uganda also equips pastors serving more than 40 village churches, while its womenβs initiatives offer community, training, dignity and economic opportunity. Widow sponsorships help contribute to living expenses.
Supporters can contribute through monthly sponsorship plans, donations and other forms of assistance. Depending on the programme, sponsors may receive updates such as report cards, letters, reports or videos. Come Uganda reports having educated more than 1,600 children, cared for over 22,000 patients and empowered more than 3,000 women. It partners with Australia Hope International to provide tax deductibility for eligible donations and sponsorships.
