About comfort4covid
Comfort4Covid is a brand dedicated to bringing human connection to patients in nursing homes and hospitals in Ireland during the COVID-19 pandemic. The brand aims to help residents who have been isolated and separated from their families and loved ones due to lockdown restrictions. Many of these individuals have been facing unfamiliar environments and have not had access to the technology that can facilitate communication.
To address this issue, Comfort4Covid has donated 1067 tablets to hospitals and nursing homes, enabling patients to see, talk, laugh, and find comfort in their loved ones' presence. With the support of 1200 private donors and €114,969 funds raised, Comfort4Covid has made a significant impact in bridging the gap between patients and their loved ones. Through their dedicated work, they have brought happiness and connection to vulnerable individuals during these tough times.
