Comfort Homes

Comfort Home Community Services is a human services agency founded in 2019 to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Guided by a person-centered approach, the organization works with clients to identify their needs, strengths, hopes, and goals, then provides practical support to help them live as independently and fully as possible at home and in the community. Its mission is to deliver excellent care in a safe, caring environment and to help individuals build everyday skills and a well-balanced life.

Services include home and community habilitation, homemaker and chore support, companion services, community participation support, and respite care. Programs can help clients develop skills in self-care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry, communication, decision-making, mobility, and managing personal resources. Staff also support socialization and participation in community activities, such as walks, library visits, shopping, and recreation. Respite services offer families temporary care when they need time for errands, business travel, or vacations. Comfort Home Community Services is based in Emmaus, Pennsylvania.
