ComGiova, formally the Associazione Comunità Giovanile ETS, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 that promotes human development and social integration. It operates the Comunità Giovanile residential center in Parè, near Conegliano, supporting young people facing substance-use problems, addiction and psychological distress. Its work focuses particularly on adolescents and young adults aged 14 to 24, including those with alcohol-related difficulties or receiving substitute medication treatment.
The center offers an initial reception phase for assessment, therapeutic guidance and motivation, followed by individualized medium- or long-term residential treatment aimed at addressing problems linked to substance use and supporting social reintegration. Services also include dedicated approaches for minors and young people in care, and parallel work with families to support therapeutic progress. ComGiova develops prevention and educational initiatives, including the Unplugged and In-Out projects, and offers activities such as the “Playing to Grow” workshop.
Through Gli Orti di Paolo, the organization also sells seasonal vegetables grown using organic and socially responsible methods.
