About Comic Art
**Comic Art & Graffix Gallery** is a renowned establishment that has been a cornerstone of comic art collections since its inception in 1986 by Richard Halegua, a passionate comic art collector and dealer. Originating from New York City, Halegua's journey began at the young age of five and evolved into a full-time career by 18, specializing in original comic book and strip art, pulps, and movie memorabilia.
The gallery serves as a vibrant virtual museum and encyclopedia, featuring a comprehensive range of original artwork from legendary artists such as Jack Kirby, Frank Frazetta, and Hal Foster. Comic Art & Graffix Gallery offers an extensive selection of collectible items including comics from the Golden and Silver Ages, movie posters, lobby cards, and contemporary collectibles. The gallery also hosts auctions on platforms like MoviePosterBid.com and ComicBidZ.com, showcasing hundreds of items weekly.
Additionally, the website features insightful articles and artist biographies, making it a valuable resource for collectors and comic enthusiasts alike. Whether you're seeking classic art or unique memorabilia, Comic Art & Graffix Gallery is your ultimate destination.
