Comicopoli

Comicopoli is a festival of comedy and live performance held in the historic centre of Montopoli. Organised by ANDROMEDART and START.TIP, the event brings audiences together for evenings featuring comedy, interviews and entertainment. Its 2026 programme includes Katia Beni in conversation with Chiara Francini and Ubaldo Pantani, as well as performances by Giobbe Covatta and Luca Bizzarri. Events take place on two stages, at the Arco di Castruccio and Piazza San Matteo, with tickets available through the event pages linked on the festival website.

Comicopoli also offers practical information to help visitors plan their evening. The historic centre hosts restaurants, bistros and street food, while local cultural sites include the Museo Civico di Palazzo Guicciardini and the Pieve dei Santi Giovanni Evangelista e Stefano. Free shuttle buses connect designated parking areas with the festival entrance. The organisers work with local associations, businesses and residents, and acknowledge the Comune di Montopoli and the community for their support. Previous editions and programme information are also featured on the website.
