The Madoura Committee is an association dedicated to promoting and protecting ceramic works designed and produced at Atelier Madoura, including both original works and edited editions. The atelier was founded by Suzanne and Georges Ramié, and the committee brings together four specialists in its artistic production. Its members include Alain Ramié, an heir of the founders and a holder of the exclusive rights to Pablo Picasso’s edited ceramic editions.
In its role as an authentication body, the committee examines Madoura works and is authorized to provide opinions and certificates of origin. Its authentication procedures are currently being formalized, and requests for certification can be sent to the committee’s dedicated email address. Other information enquiries are handled separately. The committee provides a point of reference for inquiries about the origin and authentication of these works.
The committee also manages relevant archives and coordinates submissions and examinations. These activities involve significant operating costs, so a financial contribution is required to open a case and obtain a certificate of authenticity.
