About CVA
The Commonwealth Veterinary Association (CVA) is dedicated to supporting and assisting veterinarians across the Commonwealth at the grassroots level. With a history rooted in providing essential resources and promoting professional development, the CVA offers a range of programs and initiatives to benefit its members. One of their notable initiatives is the CVA Book Program, which donates over 400 veterinary textbooks each year, free of charge, to veterinarians in need.
Additionally, they offer an online Continuing Professional Development program with 945 peer-reviewed units of veterinary CPD, many of which are accessible to veterinarians in developing countries. The CVA also encourages members in good standing to apply for the CVA Study Fund or the CVA Small Project Fund, further supporting their professional growth and research endeavors. Through conferences, awards, and networking opportunities, the CVA promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing among veterinarians in the Commonwealth.
