Community Scholarship

Community Scholarship Trust Society is a local organization focused on helping students from Drayton Valley-area community schools pursue further education. Its goal is to provide financial assistance to graduates or students who have completed high school at Frank Maddock High, Holy Trinity, Breton High, or Drayton Valley Community Outreach School. Eligible students must enroll in the first year of a full-time post-secondary educational program within two years of graduating. The Society also supports qualifying students who enter a post-secondary apprenticeship program.

The organization works to raise awareness of its scholarship trust among educators, students, parents, businesses, industry, and the wider community. It provides a way for individuals, corporations, and organizations to donate funds that help local students continue their education. Visitors can find information about applying, submitting application materials, events, and ways to contribute through the Society’s website. Based in Drayton Valley, Alberta, the Society is guided by a board of directors and invites community members to donate to sustain its support for local learners.
