Community Cancer Care Canungra

Community Cancer Care (CCC) – Canungra is a registered charity supporting local residents and families affected by cancer. Formed in 2022, the organisation grew from the Turning Canungra Pink fundraising events, a community initiative that began more than a decade earlier. Its purpose is to offer a “big warm hug from the community” by providing practical financial support to Canungra residents undergoing cancer treatment, helping them and their families feel less alone.

CCC – Canungra raises funds through donations, campaigns and community events held throughout the year. Its signature Turning Canungra Pink event series takes place in October, alongside other activities such as fundraising events and gatherings. Funds raised are used to support local people with any kind of cancer. The organisation also shares information about support options and provides a way for eligible residents to request assistance.

Community members can contribute by making a donation, volunteering, hosting an event, registering a fundraiser or sharing their story.
