Community First Fund is a private, independent non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) dedicated to creating positive change in underserved communities. We provide capital in places where it is not usually available, offering entrepreneurs access to business development loans for projects that generate jobs, create affordable housing, and revitalize communities. Our mission is to promote financial equity through wealth-building opportunities for individuals, families, and business owners, with a focus on Persons of Color, women, and immigrants.

Our approach to building vibrant and healthy communities includes various initiatives such as increasing the development of affordable and market-rate housing, revitalizing blighted buildings, providing educational opportunities for children, youth, and adults, improving access to food and healthcare, and supporting job-creating businesses. We work closely with community partners throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania, financing small business ventures and large-scale community development projects in cities like Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Reading, Allentown, and Philadelphia. Our services are currently available in select counties in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.
