Community First Hawaiʻi is a community-focused organization working to improve health across Hawaiʻi Island. Its mission is to bring together community stakeholders, healthcare providers, and policymakers to develop solutions that support better health outcomes. The organization’s programs center on three priorities: expanding access to care, increasing health literacy, and building trusted networks among healthcare and social-service organizations.

Through Kuleana Health Connect, Community First Hawaiʻi helps residents find local medical, dental, vision, and social services. It also offers information and workshops related to Advance Health Care Directives, helping people plan who can speak for them and make medical decisions if they are unable to do so themselves. The organization supports community well-being through events, volunteer opportunities, and the Hawaiʻi Island Healthcare Conference.

Community First Hawaiʻi also provides disaster recovery support in partnership with Hawaiʻi Community Foundation’s Stronger Hawaiʻi Fund. Its Hurricane Lala recovery initiative offers flexible assistance to affected individuals, families, and community organizations.
