About Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona
Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization working to ensure people across Southern Arizona can access food and supportive programs. Based in Pima County, it serves five counties: Pima, Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, and Santa Cruz. Its services are available to eligible applicants without discrimination.
The organization provides free food assistance, including emergency groceries, food boxes, pantry referrals, prepared meals, and mobile distributions. Its network includes the Tucson Gabrielle Giffords Resource Center, regional resource centers, rural distribution sites, and Caridad Community Kitchen. Programs also address child nutrition, farm and garden initiatives, farm-to-school efforts, health and nutrition, and local food access. Las Milpitas Community Farm brings neighbors together to grow food and share resources.
The food bank works with more than 300 community partners and relies on employees and volunteers to deliver its programs. Individuals can support its work by donating, volunteering, advocating, hosting food drives or fundraisers, and dropping off food.
