About Community Foundations of Aotearoa New Zealand
Community Foundations of New Zealand is the national body that supports and unites all of the regional Community Foundations across Aotearoa New Zealand. Our mission is to create strong communities where everyone belongs and thrives. We believe in empowering every New Zealander to make a lasting difference in their local community, regardless of where their home or heart may be.
Since 2003, we have been growing as a network, with the support of The Tindall Foundation and Craigs Investment Partners Limited. Through our collective efforts, over $60 million has been granted to New Zealand communities in the past 5 years, and we currently have over $240 million invested in endowment funds for future community transformation. With our invested endowment fund model, the potential impact of these gifts is boundless.
