Community Living

Community Living Association Inc. (CLA) is a not-for-profit community organization established by a group of young people with disabilities, their families, and supporters in the late 1980s. As a registered NDIS provider based in Brisbane, QLD, our focus is on supporting individuals with intellectual and cognitive disabilities, as well as young people at risk, to live fulfilling lives.

At CLA, we believe that everyone has the right to be included in the community, and we strive to create an inclusive environment where all individuals feel valued and can contribute their unique gifts. We offer a range of services to achieve this goal, including NDIS support coordination, plan management by qualified accountants, community living programs with core and capacity building supports provided by qualified social workers and human services practitioners, and specialized support for complex needs, parenting, and mental health counseling. Additionally, we collaborate with partner organizations to provide outreach support, group work, counseling, and therapy to young people with intellectual disabilities.

Community Connections is another program we offer, which addresses issues affecting young people's ability to stay at school or home, providing support to them and their families. CLA operates with the vision of building strong and vibrant communities where all individuals can thrive.
