Community Solar Platform

The Community Solar Platform (CSP) provides software and services for managing community solar programs, serving asset owners, developers, utilities, cooperatives, and municipalities. Established as a community solar vendor in 2009, CSP has united with Solomon Community Solar to combine its management technology with Solomon’s expertise in subscriber acquisition and customer services. The company says the combined platform supports more than 850 MWdc under management and 1.5 GWdc in subscribed capacity.

Its end-to-end platform brings subscriber allocation, utility-credit calculations, billing, invoicing, payment tracking, and performance reporting into one dashboard. Tools help operators monitor electricity generation, reallocate capacity when customers change, manage waitlists, and automate on-bill credits. CSP also offers program design, customer acquisition and resubscription, customer support, communications, and assistance with regulatory, tax, privacy, and data-security requirements.

Designed to simplify operations and improve the subscriber experience, the system provides real-time program insights and supports customer issue resolution and retention. CSP reports operating across 12 states and notes that its security practices are supported by external audits and testing, including SSAE-18 auditing.
