About Community-UCC
Community United Church of Christ, located in Fresno, California, is an inclusive and progressive Christian church that is dedicated to social justice, environmental faithfulness, interfaith collaboration, and spiritual formation. Our mission is to help individuals grow in faith, hope, and love. No matter who you are or where you are on your journey, you are welcome in our sacred space.
At Community UCC, we strive to walk our talk as a Just-Peace, LGBTQ Open and Affirming, and theologically progressive Congregation of the United Church of Christ. We are a diverse community, consisting of people of all ages, backgrounds, orientations, and walks of life. We embrace the teachings of Jesus and are committed to promoting peace and justice for all.
Our worship services are thoughtfully planned and implemented by our Worship Team, and we offer various ministries and church life activities to engage and inspire our members. Additionally, our staff, including Pastor Julia Penner-Zook and Minister of Music E. J.
