Compagnons Bâtisseurs is an associative movement that brings together volunteers, permanent workers, young people in voluntary service, and inhabitants. With 11 regional organizations and a national association, we aim to improve housing conditions and promote neighborhood solidarity for vulnerable populations. Our work involves accompanying over a thousand homes each year in rehabilitating their housing, fostering a spirit of mutual aid among families.

We combine technical assistance to help families carry out the necessary work in their homes with social support that promotes reintegration into their neighborhood and environment. Young volunteers have been an integral part of our project since our establishment in 1957. Whether from France or abroad, volunteers join us for 6 to 12 months and actively participate in renovation and construction sites, workshops, and technical visits.

They also have the opportunity to engage in national and international projects. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and do not require diplomas or qualifications. If you're interested in joining us, please contact us via email.
