CompanionParrotsRH

Companion Parrots Re-homed (CPR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing companion parrots from harmful situations and finding them loving homes. With a mission to provide these birds with a fresh start, CPR accepts surrendered, found, or injured parrots and ensures they receive a veterinary examination, disease testing, and any necessary medical treatment. Each bird is placed in a quarantine home for at least 30 days before being made available for adoption.

Since 2006, CPR's adoption program has been based at Parrot University in Pineville, NC. Parrot University is a comprehensive parrot supply store that prioritizes educating owners about proper care. In addition to adoption services, Parrot University offers high bio-secure boarding facilities.

CPR understands the importance of long-term care for companion birds and strives to educate current and potential caregivers in all aspects of proper parrot care. They also work closely with parrot owners facing behavioral challenges, offering support to prevent surrender whenever possible. By choosing Companion Parrots Re-homed, you not only provide a loving home to a deserving parrot but also contribute to the organization's mission of promoting responsible parrot ownership.
