CompareGlasses is a free online comparison site that helps shoppers find glasses by the measurements, styles and prices that suit them. The platform brings together more than 265,000 frames from over 1,100 brands, with listings from multiple retailers and delivery costs shown where available. It covers optical glasses and sunglasses, with filters for gender, frame size, shape, colour, material, rim type, lens features and price.

To help make frame comparisons consistent, CompareGlasses provides five measurements for each frame: lens width, bridge width, temple length, total width and lens height. Shoppers can use the numbers printed on their current glasses to identify a suitable fit, then sort results by criteria such as price, including price with shipping, brand or recency. The site also offers a free pupillary distance measurement tool and guides.

Users can save frames to a shortlist and share it by link, allowing friends to comment and suggest options. Beta virtual try-on features let shoppers preview frames on a 3D model or through a live camera.
