Giancarlo Comparotto is a professional photographer and videographer based in Verona, working locally and internationally. His career began with a camera in 1984, inspired by a lifelong passion for photography, and became his full-time profession in 1997. In 2000, he began working as a freelance video operator for the television broadcaster Match Music, filming artists and events and gaining experience with different camera systems and live productions.
His work also led him to join technical teams at RAI and Mediaset. Since returning to freelance practice in 2003, Comparotto has expanded his services to include corporate videos and commercials, photographic portfolios, advertising campaigns, wedding photography and coverage of events. He also produces video work, bringing together still and moving images to capture people, emotions and stories.
The brand presents photography not only as an art but as a way to make others’ experiences visible. Clients can explore his photography portfolio and videos online or contact him directly in Verona to discuss a project
