Competenza Immigrazione

**Competenza Immigrazione** is a pivotal initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of individuals working with immigrant communities in Sardinia. Launched in January 2014 and supported by funding from the P.O.R. FSE 2007-2013, this project seeks to train professionals from various sectors, including social services, education, law enforcement, and healthcare. With a commitment to fostering inclusion and providing comprehensive support, Competenza Immigrazione has successfully organized courses tailored for community leaders, public officials, teachers, healthcare professionals, and social workers.

Over the course of a year, the initiative offered more than 2,300 hours of training, serving 720 participants across diverse locations in Sardinia. The program emphasizes the importance of collaboration and the sharing of best practices to address the growing needs of immigrants. By equipping individuals with vital competencies, Competenza Immigrazione aims to transform the challenges of migration into opportunities for social enrichment and community development. The initiative not only reflects the region’s proactive approach to immigration but also promotes a welcoming and integrated society.
