Basketball Australia

Basketball Australia (BA) is at the forefront of cultivating emerging basketball talent through its comprehensive competition framework. The BA Competitions embody a series of events held throughout the year, designed to give athletes across Australia a platform to showcase their skills. These inclusive competitions allow participants to represent their state or club at a national level, mimicking the high-performance environment of the Australian national teams.

Key events include the Foot Locker Club Championships, National Championships, and Australian Schools Championships, serving as crucial milestones in the national team pathway. With dedicated involvement from national team coaching staff, these competitions ensure athletes receive valuable exposure and experience.

BA is committed to fostering a basketball culture that embraces athletes of all backgrounds, promoting initiatives like Aussie Hoops and She Hoops. With partnerships across various states, Basketball Australia not only develops athletes but also pays respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities that enrich Australia's sporting landscape.
