A group of fishermen repaired and restored it, transforming it into a hub for their sport and creating a sense of community around recreational fishing.

Since its inauguration, this architectural gem, known as the Belgian castle, has witnessed significant events. In 1939, the building became the first place in the country to receive news of the end of World War II when Reuters installed an antenna in its tower.
