Compost Pedallers is a brand that is revolutionizing compost recycling in Austin, TX. They are a 100% bike-powered compost company that collects compostables from homes and businesses and pedals them directly to nearby urban farms and community gardens to grow more local food. Their mission is to build a more vibrant Austin community by reducing waste, strengthening the local food system, and re-connecting neighbors through sustainable practices.
What sets Compost Pedallers apart is their decentralized model, where organic resources are composted in a network of urban agricultural centers. This model strengthens community bonds, improves soil quality, reduces vehicle emissions, and supports local food production. Compost Pedallers was founded by Dustin Fedako and Eric Goff, who started with just over 30 residential homes in Cherrywood and now proudly serve nearly 500 members.
