Compromiso Minero is an integrated network of over 100 organizations in the national mining ecosystem. They work collaboratively to promote an increasingly innovative, inclusive, and responsible development of the mining sector in Chile. The brand includes suppliers, NGOs, academia, professional associations, study centers, entrepreneurship and innovation, guilds, and regional associations, as well as small, medium, and large mining companies.

Compromiso Minero focuses on three fundamental pillars: social, environmental, and economic. In the social pillar, they prioritize dialogue with communities close to mining operations, aim to keep a larger portion of mining taxes in mining regions, and strive to double the participation of women in all mining positions by 2030.

In the environmental pillar, they are committed to reducing continental water consumption by incorporating seawater and decreasing emissions from production processes. They also aim to source 90% of electricity from renewable sources and ensure that 90% of water used in mining comes from the sea or is reused by 2025.

In the economic pillar, Compromiso Minero supports the development of local suppliers and entrepreneurs to contribute to regional economies and create more job opportunities. They also prioritize copper production for clean energy generation, the growth of local suppliers, and the creation of quality jobs while investing in technology training.
