Comune

The Municipality of Bologna is the public administration serving the city and its residents. Through its civic website, it provides information about local government, public services, official notices, cultural activities and opportunities to engage with the community. Residents can use the online personal area to access tailored information, follow the progress of service applications and reports, and connect with participation initiatives where they can register, make suggestions and vote on proposals.

The municipality covers a broad range of services, including civil registration, housing, education, mobility, environment, public safety, health and social support, taxes, business, planning and building. Its website also offers practical assistance, such as digital service support, frequently asked questions, appointment booking and reporting service disruptions. For culture and leisure, the city maintains an event agenda featuring local meetings, performances, music, exhibitions and film. The site also publishes news, announcements, public documents, tenders and transparency information. With offices based at Piazza Maggiore, the Municipality of Bologna supports civic life through administration, information and digital services.
