The wipeable tiles are made from 95% recycled material, and the sturdy cubes and pegs are biodegradable. Tool swatches are made with recyclable paper, and the bags are crafted from unbleached, sustainably produced organic cotton. The sets are produced to order in Denmark using laser-cutting and 3D printing techniques, minimizing wastage.

The CoNavigator team, led by concept developer David Earle, educational ethnographer Katrine Lindvig, and social anthropologist Line Hillersdal, has been developing the tool and methodology since 2016.
