Confederatia Patronala Concordia

The Concordia Employers’ Confederation is a Romanian business organization that brings companies together to represent their interests in public policy and social dialogue. It connects businesses across 20 key sectors, including companies with more than 450,000 employees and a combined contribution of around 30% of Romania’s GDP, according to its published figures. Concordia promotes economic freedom, social responsibility and good governance, and works with social partners to support a competitive and inclusive future for Romania.

Its activities include facilitating social dialogue, coordinating expert working groups and representing Romanian employers in international networks such as the International Organisation of Employers, BusinessEurope and Business at OECD. Concordia also develops programs to strengthen its own and its members’ capacity to contribute to public policy, with initiatives addressing smart industries, skills and the changing world of work. For businesses and the wider public, it provides research, economic impact studies, position papers, opinions, press updates, workshops and other events.
