Confcooperative, the Confederation of Italian Cooperatives, represents and supports Italy’s cooperative movement, promoting innovation and the development of social enterprises. From its national office in Rome and its presence across the country, the organization connects cooperative businesses, member associations and sector federations, while helping people understand how to create a cooperative and the benefits of joining one.

Its services include cooperative audits, shared tools and support networks, research and market information, and assistance with internationalization. Confcooperative also provides news, publications, training resources and practical information on regulations and contracts. Its initiatives address a broad range of issues, including sustainability, circular economy, renewable energy communities, community cooperatives, youth entrepreneurship, workers’ cooperatives and social inclusion. The organization promotes dialogue and collaboration through events, educational resources and partnerships, including sustainability programs developed with universities. Through these activities, Confcooperative works to strengthen cooperative enterprises and highlight their contribution to communities and the wider economy. Its website offers information about its federations, services, initiatives, research and cooperative stories.
