About Confecoop
Confecoop is a brand that works towards promoting and strengthening the cooperative movement in Colombia. Their aim is for Colombian society to see cooperativism as a model for prosperity, social development, economic growth, and peacebuilding. They represent the cooperatives present in the country, which engage in a wide range of economic activities.
Confecoop is part of the global cooperative movement, represented by the International Cooperative Alliance and various cooperative networks. Confecoop collaborates with their national integration system, three economic bodies, one cooperative business group, 15 regional associations, and two sector federations. They work together, cooperate, and promote the creation of documents that propose from the cooperative perspective to the national government.
