Confey Montessori

Confey Montessori is a small, child-led preschool located on the grounds of San Carlo School in Leixlip, County Kildare. Rooted in the Montessori tradition developed by Dr Maria Montessori, the school offers a calm, thoughtfully prepared environment where children are respected as individuals and encouraged to learn through curiosity, exploration, and purposeful activity. Children can choose meaningful work suited to their stage, helping them develop independence, concentration, and confidence.

The classroom’s materials support practical life, sensory learning, language, mathematics, and cultural studies, while its carefully ordered spaces encourage children to move freely and care for their surroundings. Small group sizes help create a warm, close-knit community in which each child is known and families are welcomed. Confey Montessori lists preschool programmes, ECCE, a breakfast club, and an after-school club among its offerings.

Families can contact the school to ask questions, learn about admissions, or arrange an appointment to visit. The preschool is based at San Carlo School, Leixlip, Co. Kildare
