About ConFoot
ConFoot Ltd is a Finnish brand dedicated to improving container handling and streamlining the supply chain. With a history rooted in innovation and design, ConFoot products are portable, reliable, and affordable. The brand's mission is to create value by reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
The story of ConFoot began when CEO Timo Akela and his friend Veikko Salminen encountered a logistical problem while importing furniture. They needed a solution to remove shipping containers from trailers without expensive equipment. Together with Terho Närevaara, they conceived the idea of lightweight, low-cost legs that could be easily attached to the container's corner casting.
Over a decade of research and development led to the creation of ConFoot's innovative design, incorporating a specific blend of high-strength Finnish steel. The result was a product capable of supporting loads up to 26 tons while weighing just 24kg. Customer feedback led to further improvements, including foldable legs and adjustable height.
Today, ConFoot offers three different models of container legs, which are sold across Europe, Australia, and more. With a focus on customer needs and continuous improvement, ConFoot is revolutionizing the container handling industry
