Connected Kiddos

Connected Kiddos is an attachment-focused play therapy practice based in Townsville, North Queensland, supporting children and families across Queensland. The practice helps children build emotional regulation, confidence, communication and secure relationships, with particular experience supporting developmental differences, disability, neurodivergence and the effects of early trauma. Its approach recognises how early experiences influence a child’s sense of self and relationships, and places the child–caregiver bond at the centre of lasting change.

Caregivers actively participate in therapy sessions and receive guidance and reflection to help carry progress into everyday life. Connected Kiddos uses structured, adult-guided play to create predictable, safe experiences where children can practise regulation, flexibility, social skills and connection. Its therapeutic approaches include Theraplay®, Synergetic Play Therapy, AutPlay® and Marte Meo, with LEGO Therapy also listed among its services. The practice’s work is informed by attachment and nervous-system awareness, supporting caregivers to better understand their child’s needs and respond with confidence and attunement. Connected Kiddos states that it is not currently accepting new referrals.
