WIA

The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) is an industry organization focused on collaboration across the wireless marketplace and the development of the infrastructure that supports connectivity. Based in Arlington, Virginia, WIA brings together members and industry participants through forums, councils, and initiatives addressing topics such as broadband, telecommunications policy, permitting, spectrum, in-building networks, edge infrastructure, and innovation. Its advocacy work includes engaging with federal issues and filings, while its resources include research, white papers, case studies, news, and practical guidance.

WIA also supports workforce development through training and education, career pathways, apprenticeship programs, and its Telecommunications Education Center (TEC) and TIRAP initiatives. Its professional and leadership programs include the In-Building Forum, Infrastructure Developers Forum, Innovation and Technology Council, Emerging Wireless Professionals, and Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum. The association hosts events, including Connect (X), and offers member initiatives and services intended to connect organizations and professionals across the sector.
