Connect Laois is the local development company for County Laois, formerly known as Laois Partnership Company. This not-for-profit, State and EU-funded organisation works with individuals, families, communities and businesses across the county to strengthen community life, tackle disadvantage and social exclusion, and support rural and enterprise development. Many of its services are available free of charge, with support tailored to local needs.

Its programmes span social inclusion, rural development, employment, education and training, health and wellbeing, and family support. Initiatives include the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), LEADER, social farming and social prescribing, community employment and Tús work placements, the Rural Social Scheme, and support for social enterprise development. Connect Laois also provides services for new arrivals, including English-language support and training courses, as well as childcare, early-years and services for older people. The organisation delivers the Walks Scheme for Laois and Offaly and offers rural recreation and climate action initiatives.
