Connect Marquette

Connect Marquette is a community-run 501(c)(6) nonprofit that supports social and professional growth in Marquette County. Its free, open-to-the-public network helps people of different ages and professions build relationships, expand their professional connections, and take part in community life. The organization hosts events throughout the year, ranging from professional development workshops on topics such as LinkedIn and Excel to casual social activities. Its programs also include the Connect Conference, the Iron Range Roll, and the Tom Baldini Community Award Ceremony.

Community members can get involved by attending events, volunteering on one of the organization’s committees, serving on its volunteer Board of Directors, or sharing ideas for future activities. Volunteer opportunities may include planning and promoting events, supporting community initiatives, and helping with activities such as Beer Fest and the annual Adopt a Family trip. Connect Marquette also provides leadership experience through collaborative board work. With no membership fees or dues, the organization relies on volunteers and community participation, with proceeds directed toward event costs and future programs.
