Consulat Hongrie RDC

The Consulat Honoraire de Hongrie in Kinshasa, RDC, serves as a vital cultural and diplomatic bridge between Hungary and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This honorable consulate facilitates bilateral relations and provides essential consular services, including visa assistance and protective support for Hungarian citizens living in or visiting the region.

The consulate emphasizes collaboration in business and trade, recently participating in significant economic events and the inauguration of a mineral purchasing and processing company in Bukavu. They actively monitor local economic trends and advocate for agricultural development through initiatives like open days to promote local produce.

Led by Marianne Nasha Mulangala Muipatayi, a well-regarded legal expert and advocate for women's rights, the consulate leverages her extensive experience and connections in both Europe and Africa to foster trade and cultural exchanges. By investing in projects that link Hungarian enterprises with Congolese markets, the consulate supports economic growth while promoting Hungary’s rich heritage in the region.
