Soulbaby is a maternal and infant care service led by Paula Zavala, a nurse with specialist training in breastfeeding and infant feeding. Drawing on experience in pediatrics and maternity care, Paula supports families from pregnancy through the postpartum period and the transition to weaning. Consultations are available in person at home in A Coruña city and online by video call.

The service offers individualized guidance for a wide range of feeding needs, including prenatal preparation, painful feeds, latch and sucking difficulties, breastfeeding positions, tandem nursing, relactation, induced lactation, supplementation, and mixed or formula feeding. Families can also seek help with expressing and storing breast milk, nursing strikes, breastfeeding during pregnancy, contraception and sexuality while nursing, respectful weaning, and returning to work while building a milk supply.

Each consultation begins with an in-depth assessment of the family’s situation, followed by practical, personalized recommendations. Soulbaby aims to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where parents can make informed choices about feeding and receive help at their own pace.
