About Contact North
Contact North | Contact Nord is a brand that aims to increase access to online programs and courses for underserved Ontario residents. They work with Ontario's colleges, universities, Indigenous institutes, and other providers to offer these educational opportunities while allowing students to remain in their communities. With a focus on rural and remote areas, Contact North provides free support services to students in over 1,500 communities.
These services are available in both English and French and can be accessed in person, over the phone, through email, live chat, or virtually. They offer a range of support, including information on available programs, financial aid, and referrals to other local services. Additionally, Contact North offers technology and support services such as IT technical support, laptop and internet loans, access to computers and internet at online learning centers, and use of web conferencing platforms.
They also provide resources and training for faculty and instructors. Contact North is dedicated to ensuring that Ontario residents have the necessary support to succeed in their online studies
