CAG Vancouver

Contemporary Art Gallery (CAG) is a contemporary art space in downtown Vancouver, located at 555 Nelson Street. With artists at the centre of its work, CAG commissions, circulates and publishes art and ideas that encourage visitors to move beyond the familiar, reimagine possibilities and explore new ways of understanding the world. The gallery presents exhibitions and talks and events, alongside programs for families, young people and schools. Admission is always free, and visitors can find information about accessibility, group visits and planning a visit through the gallery’s website.

CAG also supports its work through membership, sponsorship, planned giving and special events. Its archive offers an expanding record of past exhibitions, programs and related materials. The gallery shop features artists’ editions, artists’ books, exhibition catalogues, monographs and merchandise, making publications and artworks available to explore and purchase. Through exhibitions, public programs, publishing and learning opportunities, Contemporary Art Gallery connects artists and audiences with contemporary art and ideas.
