Contemporary Ceramics is a vibrant gallery and shop located just opposite the British Museum in central London, showcasing exceptional British studio ceramics. With over 80 talented ceramic artists represented, the gallery features more than 200 unique and handcrafted pieces, all made by members of the Craft Potters Association. The collection highlights the finest skills and techniques in ceramic art, from both emerging and established artists.

Founded in 1960, Contemporary Ceramics has evolved while maintaining its commitment to quality and creativity. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the gallery successfully launched an online shop, making it easier for customers to explore and purchase beautiful ceramics from the comfort of their homes. Under the leadership of Gallery Manager Marta Donaghey, who has been at the helm for over 30 years, the gallery continues to be a hub for ceramic art and knowledge, celebrating innovation within the craft. Visitors can engage with ceramics through exhibitions, events, and a warm community atmosphere.
