Contera

Contera is a Danish educational technology provider focused on bringing digital tools into teaching. The company develops emat.dk, an online mathematics learning system designed for classroom use and independent practice. The platform offers mathematics exercises corresponding to grades 1 through 10 in the Danish primary and lower-secondary school system, supporting learners across a broad range of levels.

Teachers can assign exercises at different levels, making it possible to adapt mathematics instruction to students’ needs. Learners can access help with every subject area covered by the exercises, giving them support as they work through problems. The system automatically marks completed work and presents results in detailed statistics, helping users review performance.

emat.dk also provides practice with multiplication tables from 1 to 20. Students can take part in competitions against other learners and schools using the site, adding a competitive element to their practice. Contera offers both school and private subscriptions and provides a contact channel for enquiries.
