Contigo Celeste

Fundación Contigo Celeste is a Medellín, Colombia-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by strengthening the families, caregivers, and professionals who support them. Its approach combines education, purposeful technology, emotional guidance, and community, helping people move from the impact of a diagnosis toward greater empowerment and well-being. The foundation offers programs, services, and training, and works to create supportive environments that encourage inclusion and development. Its guiding principles include empathy, social innovation, community, and transparency.

Contigo Celeste also partners with the Instituto de Capacitación Los Álamos on “Más allá del diagnóstico,” a series of free, online live events for families, caregivers, and health and education professionals. The conversations address topics such as adjusting to a diagnosis, family emotions, caregiver well-being, and the identity and rights of people with intellectual disabilities. With a decade of experience and more than 1,500 families accompanied, the foundation provides practical learning opportunities and a sense of shared support for those navigating the realities of care.
