Contra Events is a Tasmanian-owned boutique caravan bar based in Hobart, providing drinks and bar services for weddings and special events. The brand focuses on quality beverages from independent producers, with menus curated to suit each occasion and make the celebration feel personal. Its offerings include wine from Australian independent winemakers, local keg beer collected fresh from breweries, and custom cocktails made by the Contra Events team and served on tap.
Wedding and event packages are designed to simplify drinks planning. They can include custom cocktails, local beer, wine, glassware hire and professional on-the-day service, with options shaped around the hosts’ preferences and event style. Contra Events aims to take the stress out of organising beverages while delivering attentive service with a friendly, conversational touch.
The team brings more than 40 years of combined experience in hospitality, event management and alcohol production. Contra Events invites clients to discuss their event and create a drinks menu tailored to their special day.
