Convergence Combat

Convergence Combat Sports (CCS) is a Taekwondo training club in Oakleigh, Melbourne, focused on high-performance sparring. Describing itself as Australia’s only high-performance sparring club, CCS offers Olympic-style Taekwondo for athletes seeking to train hard and improve quickly. The club is led by head coach Tom Burns, a 2020 Tokyo Olympian and Oceania champion who has also served as Victoria PDP Head Coach. Drawing on his experience in international competition, Burns brings elite-level standards and guidance to athletes developing their skills.

Training uses KPNP K2 and DAEDO Gen 3 electronic hogu systems, providing immediate scoring feedback and helping athletes track effective techniques. CCS provides regular classes, intensive camps, and private sessions, with a schedule available for prospective and current members.
