About Cooke RFC Mini Rugby
Cooke Mini Rugby Club, located at Shaw's Bridge in South Belfast, is a vibrant community hub for young rugby enthusiasts. Established in 1910 as part of Cooke Rugby Football Club, it proudly stands as the oldest junior rugby club in Belfast. The club offers inclusive Mini Rugby training for children in Primary School years, from P1 to P7, fostering skills and teamwork among aspiring players.
Training sessions are held every Saturday at 9:15 AM with matches often taking place against various teams across Ulster, including Instonian Seahorses and Malone Mini Rugby. The club is dedicated to introducing the joys of rugby to children, utilizing smaller balls and pitches to enhance participation.
In addition to regular training, the club provides exciting opportunities for players to showcase their skills at prestigious events, such as performing at half-time during Ulster Rugby matches at Kingspan Stadium. Cooke Mini Rugby Club invites boys and girls to join in the fun and explore the exhilarating world of rugby.
